Bangor, ME - The Husson Eagles were no match for the U. Maine Presque Isle Owls losing 15-25, 25-22,15-25, 18-25.  With the loss, Husson falls to 4-8 on the season.  The Owls were led by Michelle Ferry (Sr., Princeton, ME) who contributed 10 kills, 20 digs and 3 aces and Johannah Bubar (Jr., Riverview, NB) adding 8 kills, 3 aces, and 7 blocks.

A strong showing from Husson rookie Hannah Olstad (Fy., Farmington, NH) contributing 9 kills and three blocks was not enough to beat the Owls.  Other notable Husson performers include Kait McKay with 9 digs and 12 kills and Aleta Johnson with 9 digs and 12 kills.

Husson will return to action on Saturday, September 26 away against U. Maine Presque Isle at 10:00 and Thomas College at 2:00.  The matches will be played at U. Maine Machias.
