 New Husson Look For Webber PoolWebber Pool at Husson University will sport a new look this fall. The 40 year old structure received a makeover this summer complete with new lights, new lane lines and flags, signage and a little paint. The new look to the pool area is completely done in the new green and gold to give it an Eagles feel. The renovations will aid the women’s swim team entering their 5th year of competition in developing into one of the top NCAA III programs in New England. [read more] The Eagles swim program will look to build on a very successful season with all 17 student athletes eligible to return in 2009-10. This year’s squad was the biggest in schools history with 17 student athletes. [read more] Head Coach Jeff Wren and the women’s swim program conducted swimming lessons for area youth this spring. Coach Wren developed the program and ran it for over 25 years while at the University of Maine and began the program at Husson this spring. [read more] Husson took six swimmers to the NEISDA championships Feb 20-22 at UMass, Dartmouth. Kaitlyn Theriault and Erin Doucette qualified for individual events and Anna Marceau, Nicole Nadeau, Kelly Bernier and Renee Dufrense-Dixon attended so that Husson could be represented in all five relays. [read more] Kaitlyn Theriault (SO, Glen Allen, VA) won the 200 (2:13.78) and 500 (6:04.26) free in a dual meet at Saint Joseph College. The Eagles fall short to the Monks 170-84.
