Five Eagles Selected to NAC Women’s Soccer All Conference Team


Five Husson University women's soccer players were selected to the North Atlantic Conference All-Conference Team.  Shelby Bradford, (Sr., Lee, ME) and Alex Laniewski (So., Scarborough, ME) were selected to the First Team.  Caitlyn Butterfield (Jr., Gorham, ME), Amy Sanz (Sr., Tyngsboro, MA) and Kylan Smith (Sr., Presque Isle, ME) were selected to the Second Team. 

Shelby Bradford has been selected to the NAC All-Conference team for the past three years and has tallied 13 goals and 10 assists on the year.  Bradford is joined by Alex Laniewski on the First Team.  In her first season with the Eagles, Laniewski contributed 11 goals and four assists.  Making her third consecutive appearance on the All-Conference team, defender Caitlyn Butterfield has anchored the Eagle defense throughout the year.  Butterfield also tallied one goal and one assist on the season.  Senior Amy Sanz collects All-Conference honors for the third year.  The midfielder scored two goals and two assists on the season.  In her second appearance on the All-Conference team, Senior, Kylan Smith, tallied five goals and two assists this season.

The Eagles will play in the North Atlantic Conference Championship game at Castleton on Sunday, November 8.  Game time is set for 1:00 and the winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
