[read more] Husson midfielder Caitlyn Butterfield was honored as the leagues Rookie of the Year. Butterfield scored 11 times while collecting 17 ground balls, causing four turnovers and winning 11 draw controls as Husson posted a 3-1 mark in conference play. [read more] Castleton, VT - Elizabeth Haggerty scored a game-high five goals and earned Most Valuable Player honors as Castleton defeated Husson 19-7 in the inaugural North Atlantic Conference Womens Lacrosse Championship Sunday afternoon. Castleton upped its record to a program-best 12-2, while Husson wraps up its first season at 6-6. [read more] WATERVILLE, MaineOn a rain soaked Alumni Field, Husson University was able to come away with the 17-4 victory over Thomas College on Tuesday afternoon in a North Atlantic Conference Womens Lacrosse match up. The visiting Eagles would outshoot the Terriers by a margin of 44-15 to take the win. The Eagles will now play for the NAC Championship on Sunday, April 26 against Castleton State College.
