Eagles Have Successful Inaugural Season

The women's lacrosse program wrapped up their first year of competition with a 6-6 record. The Eagles finished 2nd in NAC play with a 3-1 record and played for the first ever NAC Championship in women's lacrosse losing to Castleton State 19-7.
Husson was paced by Shelby Bradford (Jr, Lee, ME) with 60 points featuring 45 goals. She led the nation in ground balls with 6.75 per game. Jamie Ladd (Fy, Berlin, VT) and Caitlyn Butterfield (So, Gorham, ME) each finished with 28 points. Nikki Burns (So, South Berwick, ME) handled the majority of the goal tending duties and allowed 12.92 goals per game.
The Eagles had 5 student athletes named to the NAC All-Conference teams. Bradford and Butterfield were named 1st team All-NAC along with Caitlin Ramsey (Jr, Berlin, NH) and Alex Huffman (So, Hampton, NH). Jami Ladd (Fy, Berlin, VT) was named 2nd team All-NAC. Head Coach Mark Hundhammer was named NAC Coach of the Year.
Husson led the nation in ground balls per game with 29.92. Bradford was 1st in the country while Butterfield was 6th.
The Eagles carried 20 student athletes on the roster, many of which played lacrosse for the first time. They recorded non-conference wins over Regis College, MA and Elms College, MA.
