Eagles Have Successful Inaugural Season
The womens lacrosse program wrapped up their first year of competition with a 6-6 record. The Eagles finished 2nd in NAC play with a 3-1 record and played for the first ever NAC Championship in womens lacrosse losing to Castleton State 19-7.

Butterfield and Hundhammer Take Home NAC Honors
Husson midfielder Caitlyn Butterfield was honored as the leagues Rookie of the Year. Butterfield scored 11 times while collecting 17 ground balls, causing four turnovers and winning 11 draw controls as Husson posted a 3-1 mark in conference play.

Husson Comes Up Short In NAC Championship
Castleton, VT - Elizabeth Haggerty scored a game-high five goals and earned Most Valuable Player honors as Castleton defeated Husson 19-7 in the inaugural North Atlantic Conference Womens Lacrosse Championship Sunday afternoon. Castleton upped its record to a program-best 12-2, while Husson wraps up its first season at 6-6.

Eagles Fly by Thomas
WATERVILLE, MaineOn a rain soaked Alumni Field, Husson University was able to come away with the 17-4 victory over Thomas College on Tuesday afternoon in a North Atlantic Conference Womens Lacrosse match up. The visiting Eagles would outshoot the Terriers by a margin of 44-15 to take the win. The Eagles will now play for the NAC Championship on Sunday, April 26 against Castleton State College.

Bradford Leads Nation
Shelby Bradford (Jr, Lee, ME) has put up some impressive numbers on the athletic field in soccer and basketball, two sports she has played all her life. Bradford picked up lacrosse this season and continues to put up impressive numbers in a sport she has never played prior to this year.

Eagles Fall to Castleton
Castleton, VT - Nicole Adams became the all-time leading point scorer in Castleton history, and Marie VanDerKar set the single-season goal scoring record as Castleton cruised to a 22-12 win over Husson University in North Atlantic Conference action Sunday afternoon.

Eagles Cruise to Victory
Bangor, ME The Husson University Womens Lacrosse picked up their fourth victory of the season by defeating Thomas College 25-2. The Eagles outshot the Terriers 50-14. Husson improves to 4-4 on the season, while Thomas falls to 1-7.

FARMINGTON, Maine -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's lacrosse team collected its first victory in the program's history with a 12-9 win over Husson University today at Prescott Field.

Eagles Win Third Straight
Bangor, ME The Husson University Womens Lacrosse team won their third straight game as they evened their record to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles defeated Elms College 17-2 on Friday afternoon. With the loss the Blazers fall to 0-10. Husson outshot Elms 54-12 and had a 61-25 loose ball advantage.

Womens Lacrosse Wins First NAC Game
Bangor, ME The Husson University Womens Lacrosse team earned their first North Atlantic Conference victory as they defeated the University of Maine-Farmington 15-5. With the win the Eagles improve to 2-3 overall and 1-0 in NAC play. The Beavers fall to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in the NAC. At the half the Eagles held a slim 5-4 lead over Farmington, however Husson would catch on fire and score the next 10 goals to open up the second half.

Women's Lacrosse Earns First Victory
Bangor, ME The Husson University Womens Lacrosse team earned their first victory in school history as they defeated Regis College on Saturday, 19-9. The Eagles outscored the Pride 13 to 4 in the second half as they cruised to their first win.

Husson Falls Short
4/1/09 - Lady Monks' Second Half Rally Yields Victory PORTLAND, ME - Saint Joseph's (3-2, 0-1 GNAC) trailed Husson University (0-3) 10-6 at halftime, but outscored the visitors 13-7 in the second stanza, and 6-3 in last 11 minutes, to clinch a 19-17 victory on Wednesday evening at Deering Memorial Field. Alyssa Marchant '11 (Wakefield, MA) scored a program-record seven goals, five after the intermission, in the win and Lauren Hagerman '10 (Scarborough, ME) added four goals and three assists for St. Joe's.

Bangor, ME The Husson University Eagles lost to the Framingham State College Rams 15-2 Saturday afternoon. With the loss the Eagles fall to 0-2 on the season. With the win the Rams improve to a 2-1 record.

Husson Fall in First Game
Bangor, ME The Husson University Eagles lost their opening game of the season, 20-15 to the Becker College Hawks. After falling behind 2-0 early in the first half, Rebecca Hatin scored the first Womens Lacrosse goal in school history, with 23:57 left in the half. The whole first half was back and forth, as Eagles leading scorer Shelby Bradford had five goals and Hawks leading scorer Tammy Mullen had four goals en route to a 9-9 halftime score.

The womens lacrosse program will play their first game in programs history, Sunday, March 22 at 12:00 pm. The Eagles will square off against Becker College.

NAC-NEAC Enter Partnership
The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) and North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) have entered into a partnership to expand associate membership. The NEAC will gain associate members in the sports of baseball and women's tennis while the NAC will add members for men's tennis and women's lacrosse.

Mark Hundhammer Named Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
Head Coach Mark Hundhammer is the Womens Lacrosse programs first coach. The program begins play in spring of 2009. Coach Hundhammer has an extensive background in coaching soccer and will apply those experiences to the Lacrosse field.
