Coach Walker enters her 19th year as Head Coach of the Eagles
with a career record of 335-159. In 2009, Coach Walker was
named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) coach of the year. She guided
the program to the NCAA National Tournament in 2004 and has made 7
straight NAC tournament appearances. Coach Walker also made
four trips to the NAIA National Tournament, including a "Final
Four" appearance in 1993.
Coach Walker is a 1986 graduate of the University of Maine where
she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health, Physical
Education and Recreation. She completed her Master's of Science
Degree in Business at Husson College in 2004. Walker was a point
guard and captain for UMO during her playing career. Upon
graduating in 1986, Walker taught Physical Education at Holbrook
School in East Holden, Maine, for three years before taking over
the Husson program in 1989.
In addition to her coaching duties, Coach Walker serves as
Husson's Director of Wellness on campus and is a part-time faculty
member.
Coach Walker is an active member of the Bangor area community. She
is a past member of the Board of Trustees for the Bangor Humane
Society and served as President of the Maine Sports Legends, which
awards annual scholarships to Maine youths.
Coach Dodge has been the assistant coach with the women's basketball program since 1994. Coach Dodge graduated from Husson 2002 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Adminstration - Sports Management.
Coach Dodge worked as a residential director for eight years (1994-2002). He also coached the women's softball program for 5 years (1999-2003). Currently, he is works full time as a sales person for W.S. Emerson in Brewer, Maine.
Coach Dodge works at the University of Southern Maine Swish Summer Basketball Camp in Gorham. He has coached basketball at Hampden Academy for both the boy's and girl's teams and was the Varsity girl's soccer coach for thirteen seasons.
Randy resides in Bangor and enjoys camping, snowmobiling,
boating and golf.
