Eagles Earn Split Against Comets

Richardson, TX - Husson University opened the softball season with a split against the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). The Eagles fell to the Comets 3-2 in the opener and earned a 1-0 shutout victory in the second game to start their season at 1-1. [read more]


Husson University was a unanimous choice to win the league in a preseason poll conducted with the coaches. The Eagles return nine starters from a team that went 14-0 in conference play and 26-16 overall. [read more]

Husson University women’s softball is preparing for the start of their 2009-10. The defending North Atlantic Conference (NAC) champions eagerly await the start of their season with their spring break trip to Dallas, Texas. In a preseason poll conducted by NAC coaches, the Eagles were the unanimous selection to finish first in the league this season. [read more]

The dugouts on the O’Keefe Softball Field received a fresh coat of paint this month. Dedicated in April 2005 the softball field is home to the 2009 NAC Softball Champions. Robert and Frances O’Keefe made the field possible with their generous donation. [read more]

The Eagles capped off a great year with a NAC title and a trip to the NCAA New England Regional. They finished the year undefeated in NAC play going 14-0 during the regular season and sweeping the NAC Tournament in three games. [read more]
