Top-Seeded Husson Set to Host NAC Softball Tournament

Whitingham, VT - Husson University has earned the top seed in the upcoming North Atlantic Conference Softball Championship. Winners of five-straight NAC titles, Husson finished the regular season at 12-2 in conference play and will host the six-team, double-elimination tournament beginning Friday, May 2.

The Eagles will open the tournament against sixth-seeded Johnson State who finished the conference slate at 5-9.

Second-seeded Castleton will play number five Lyndon in Game two, followed by third seed UMaine-Farmington and fourth-seeded Thomas. An elimination game featuring the losers of game one and two will cap the first day's action.

Action will continue through Saturday, May 3 and is set to conclude on Sunday, May 4.
