Husson University softball team will enter the NCAA III East Regional as the #8 seed and will take on #1 seed Tufts University in the 1^st round of the NCAA III National Softball Tournament on Thursday, May 7 at 10:00 am.  Endicott College will host the 8-team regional site. 

The Eagles finished the regular season 26-14 en-route to their first NAC Championship.  They were undefeated in regular season conference play at 14-0 and swept the NAC Championship 3-0.  Husson won 14 straight in the month of April and finished the season 23-3 in their last 26 games. 

Tufts University went 37-1 on their way to a NESCAC title.  Rounding out the regional field are #2 Rhode Island College (40-5), #3 Coast Guard (36-5-1), #4 Endicott College (37-7), #5 Emerson College (32-8), #6 Bridgewater State (28-9), and #7 Springfield College (20-22). 

With a win, Husson will play at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 8^th against the winner of the Endicott and Emerson game.  If the Eagles lose, they will play at 10:00 pm on Friday, May 8^th against the loser of Endicott and Emerson game.
