Seth Brown, named head soccer coach in 2006, has guided the
Eagles to the top of the North Atlantic Conference.
Coach Brown came to Husson with an extensive resume of coaching
experience, including a stint with the Atlanta Silverbacks, a
professional soccer team and organization. He developed and
implemented the organization's youth soccer camps, teams, and
recreational league.
Prior to joining the Silverbacks, Coach Brown was the Director of
Coaching with the Arsenal Rome Soccer Club, a prominent soccer club
in Georgia. His college coaching experience was spent in Montana
and North Dakota.
Upon graduating from Maine Maritime, where he had a successful
college career, he traveled to University of Mary (Bismarck, ND)
were he started as an assistant coach with the men's soccer
program. After serving just one year as an assistant coach, he was
named head coach of the women's soccer program. Later that year, he
became the Assistant Director of Admissions.
Coach Brown left the University of Mary to become the Head Women's
Soccer Coach at Rocky Mountain College (Billings, MT). He served as
head coach one year before taking the job with Arsenal Rome Soccer
Club.
Coach Brown holds an "A" and National "Y" license with the USSF
(United States Soccer Federation). He is also a member of the USSF
and the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America).
He and his wife Mariko reside in Frankfort with their two
children, Wade and Mayako.
Coach Mike Noblet joined the staff in 2006. Along with his coaching duties at Husson, he coaches for Blackbear United Football Club where he is the U17 girls coach, head goalkeeper coach, and field project manager.
Coach Noblet grew up in Plano, TX where he played for such
premier clubs as Storm Soccer Club, Wolves, and British Caledonian
Diggers. Coach Noblet had several stints as a player for club teams
in the Boston area while attending Northeastern University. After
transfering to Thomas College, coach Noblet completed his Bachelor
of Science Degree in Finance and Administration while playing two
seasons for the Terriers, helping them to the NAIA regional
playoffs in his final season.
Coach Noblet brings 30 years of playing and coaching experience,
as well as a National D license to his duties as assistant and goal
keeper coach.
He works full time at the University of Maine as their Purchasing
Manager and currently resides in Bangor with his wife Caroline.
