NAC Coaches Select Five Eagles to Mens Soccer All-Conference Team

Husson University placed five student-athletes on the North Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer team. Edwin Acosta (So., Honduras), Justin Gauvin, (Sr., Woolwich, ME) and Mark Trombley (Sr., Burnham, ME) were named to the NAC First Team All-Conference. John DeStefano (Fy., Auburn, ME) and Alex Martin (So., Van Buren, ME) were named to the NAC Second Team All-Conference.
Senior Mark Trombley tallied 7 goals and 6 assists on the season earning him a sport on the NAC First Team All-Conference. Sophomore Edwin Acosta was also selected to the First Team. This season, Acosta tallied 5 goals and 3 assists. Midfielder Justin Gauvin rounded out Husson's First Team selections contributing 1 goal and 3 assists on the season. In his first year at Husson, John Destefano scored 5 goals and 1 assist earning a spot on the NAC Second Team All-Conference. Forward Alex Martin tallied 5 goals and 1 assist.
Husson University will play in the NAC Men's Soccer Championship Game at Boucher Field on Saturday, November 7. Game time is set for 1:00 and the winner will advance to the NCAA Tournament.
