Along with the Eagles, the men's lacrosse teams of the University of New England, St Josephs (ME), Maine Maritime Academy, and the University of Southern Maine participated in the day's events. Mattoon will be the offensive coordinator for the team. While in Copenhagen with the team he spent his time familiarizing himself with the players, running a training camp and making general preparations for competition. The Mustangs move on to the semifinal round and will host Maine Maritime Academy this coming Wednesday who beat Thomas College 12-5 today. Mount Ida improves to 11-6 overall, 9-1 in the NAC while the 2009 season road ends for the Eagles at 4-9, 3-7 in conference competition.
