Estabrook Named to All New England Team

Ben Estabrook, (Sr., Bangor, ME) was named to the All New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) team. Estabrook shot rounds of 75 and 78 at the Captain's Golf Course in Brewster, MA, to secure a spot on the All New England Team. Husson finished third in Division III at the NEIGA and Estabrook shot a team best 153 for the tournament. Estabrook, a Business Management major, will play in the NCAA Division III Golf National Championship in spring of 2010. [read more]


Brewster, MA - Husson University Men’s Golf finished third in Division III at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Championship (NEIGA) with a score of 627. Salem State finished first in Division III scoring 609 and was closely followed by Trinity College with 610. The Eagles are the 2009 North Atlantic Conference Champions for the fourth straight year and will compete in the NCAA National Tournament this spring. Husson won eight straight tournaments this season and finished the fall winning eight of nine tournaments. [read more]

Husson University Men's Golf is tied for fourth place in Division III at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Championship (NEIGA). The Eagles are currently nine shots back from Salem State College who leads Division III in the tournament with 304. Husson is tied for twelfth place overall and will continue play tomorrow. North Atlantic Golfer of the Year, Kevin Byrne, (Jr., Winslow, ME), dominated the links earning medalist honors in six tournaments including the NAC Championship. The undefeated Eagles placed five on the NAC All Conference Team. [read more]

Orono, ME- Husson University won its fourth consecutive North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Golf Championship, scoring a 308 during round two for a two-day 604 at the Penobscot Valley Country Club. The Eagles finished the season a perfect 8-0 and secured medalist honors in every tournament. Castleton College finished second with a two-day 644. [read more]
