Bangor, ME- Husson University lost a hard fought game to Framingham State 2-1 at Husson's Winkin Complex.  Kayleigh Force (So., Leiominster, MA scored the game winning goal the Rams.  With the loss, Husson drops to 2-6 while Framingham improves to 10-2.

 Husson's Lindsay Barnes (Sr., Owls Head, ME) notched the first goal of the game with an unassisted score at the 42:22 minute mark.  Framingham State answered with a Kristen Sacco (Jr., Mendon, MA) goal off of a short corner to tie the game. Six minutes after the Sacco goal, Kayleigh Force sealed the deal for the Rams with a goal off a Katie Wotherspoon (Sr., Stafford, CT) assist.

Husson's Kristen Capen made 13 saves in goal on the day while Framingham's Allesha Kenyon (Jr., Westford, MA) made one save.

Husson returns to action at home against U. Maine Farmington on October 17.  Game time is set for 4:00.  Framingham State's next contest is home against Westfield State at 4:00
