Carlos Romero Named Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Rookie of the Week

Rookie place kicker Carlos Romero, (Coral Springs, FL), was named Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Rookie of the Week.  Romero set a school record with a perfect 8-8 for point after touchdown (PAT).

Romero also kicked a 16 yard field goal in the 63-12 win over Anna Maria.  On the season, Romero has contributed 11 points in two games.

The Eagles (1-1) return to action on Saturday at home against Suny Maritime. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
