 Adams and Folsom Take Home Legion HonorsHusson University’s pitcher Nate Adams and Assistant Baseball Coach Jason Folsom were honored by the American Legion Zone 1 last week taking home two of the top awards. Adams (SO, Frankfort, ME) was named Player of the Year by the zone’s eleven coaches and Folsom was selected as Coach of the Year. [read more] Coach John Winkin enjoys his 90th birthday at Husson University while watching the Zone 1 Legion Tournament being played on the Winkin Complex. Coach Winkin spoke with friends and fans while watching Steamboat Petroleum vs Trenton. Steamboat is coached by Bain Pollard who assisted Coach Winkin at Husson. [read more] The Eagles capped of a historic season with two wins at the NCAA III New England Regional. Head Coach Jason Harvey’s squad set a new program record for wins in a season (33-14) and won their first NAC title. [read more] Senior catcher Nick Arthers (Belfast, ME) was named 2nd team All-New England by the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA). Arthers was the NAC Player of the Year and helped led the Eagles to their first ever NAC title and trip to the NCAA III New England Regional.
