The Sports Medicine at Husson University is responsible for the healthcare of over 300 student-athletes participating in one of the 13 varsity sports offered at Husson. The staff consists of our team physician, two full-time Certified Athletic Trainers, one part-time ATC, as well as several student athletic trainers who cover practices and home events.

The Sports Medicine and Athletic Traning Staff focus on the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for all intercollegiate student-athletes. When a student-athlete is injured, we work to ensure a proper diagnosis and treatment plan, appropriate specialty referrals, communication with their coach and with the athlete themselves to secure a complete and prompt recovery.

All student-athletes must undergo a pre-participation physical screening along with completing a detailed health history record and insurance forms for the Sports Medicine Department. All forms must be properly completed for participation in athletics at Husson University.
