Jason Harvey's Baseball Camp at Husson U

This camp provides the campers with a great opportunity to improve their skills over a week going through drills, competitions and games. The campers will go through a variety of drills in the morning sessions including hitting, pitching and catching, infield/outfield, base running and bunting. The morning session wraps up with a lecture by Coach Harvey and then the campers head off to lunch (provided). After lunch the campers will be heading to the pool for a cool-down swim before heading back out to finish with games featuring teams picked according to age and coached by Husson players. On Thursday afternoon the campers will compete in skills contests including throwing accuracy, throwing speed, gold glove and a homerun derby. On Friday, the camp will end at 12:00 pm. Coach Harvey holds an awards banquet on Friday beginning at 11:45 am.

This camp will focus on skill development, ball familiarity, positional (functional) training, and developing a love for the game. This training strives to familiarize players with all positions on the field and to get them comfortable in each. Goalkeepers are welcome and will have the option to train separately.

The Butch Babin Swim Camp offered at Husson University will focus on stroke development and technique. There is also an equal balance and influence in core development through dryland instruction and routines each day. The psychological aspect of swimming and topics of time management and the college recruiting process that junior and senior swimmers can expect will be covered. There will be plenty of team building and fun for all swimmers.

The Butch Babin Dive Camp offered at Husson University is designed for boys and girls ages 11–18 who have been diving competitively for at least one season. This camp utilizes pool time, dry-land, dry-board practice, video review, and classroom sessions to improve all aspects of diving.
