Winkin Sports Complex
The Winkin Sports Complex is home to our baseball, field hockey, and football teams, and is one of the best facilities in New England. The vision of legendary baseball coach, Dr. John Winkin helped transform Husson's baseball field into a multi-sport complex, complete with "Field Turf", dugouts, and press box.
Dr. Winkin got the project off the ground by donating his summer camp to the school and the proceeds jump started the project. His gift inspired long-time friend Harold Alfond to make a $1,000,000 donation to Husson so that "FieldTurf" could be installed as a playing surface, along with a drainage system. The "Harold Alfond Diamond" is one of the best playing surfaces for baseball in New England.
There is seating for 3,000 spectators for baseball, football, and field hockey games, as well as an outdoor commencement ceremony, when weather permits.
