According to the NCAA, Division III week is "an opportunity to celebrate the academic, athletic and extra-curricular achievements of student-athletes. It can be organized around a simple event—as elemental as scheduling one activity during the week—or it can be organized as a week-long festival to demonstrate the ways in which student-athletes help enrich campus life."
